Located in Jiading, Shanghai, the project is on the shores of Yuanxiang Lake. The interior design follows the landscape tone of “immersive forest garden” and takes the contemporary “Garden of Eden” as the inspiration source, while incorporating the urban memory of “Old Shanghai” to balance the city and nature as well as connect the past, present, and future.

31 Design aims to “not only deliver a design that can be seen, but also create ‘invisible’ design”, focusing on the link between people and the relationship between people and space, and exploring the depth of the role and meaning of design. We fully deliberate on human emotions, the connection and interaction between spaces, the convenience of movement, and commerciality. The areas for in-depth business negotiations or friendly chatting and the recreational café are integrated into one, to create a more relaxed and convenient environment for business negotiations and social intercourse.
